Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about booking on Aptri as a customer, and running a business on it as a provider.

For customers

How do I book an appointment on Aptri?
Find a provider through search or a category page, open its profile, choose a service, then pick a free date and time and confirm. You need an Aptri account so the booking is tied to you and you can manage it later. Most bookings are confirmed immediately; a service that requires a deposit stays pending until the deposit is paid.
Is Aptri free for customers?
Yes. Searching, browsing and booking on Aptri costs customers nothing. You pay the provider for the service you book; providers pay Aptri a monthly subscription.
Do I pay when I book, or at the appointment?
Usually at the appointment. Providers can enable an advance payment on individual services, and when they have, the deposit is shown before you confirm and charged as part of the booking. The rest is settled with the provider.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Yes. Open My bookings and cancel or reschedule from there. Individual providers may have their own policy on late changes, so for an appointment that is very close, contact the provider directly as well.
Are the reviews on Aptri genuine?
Yes. Aptri only accepts a review from a customer who has a completed booking with that provider, so ratings cannot be posted by people who never attended an appointment.
Where does Aptri work, and in which languages?
Aptri is available in English and Polish, and providers set their own city and address. Prices are shown in the currency each provider works in, and appointment times are shown in the provider's local time zone.
Is there an Aptri mobile app?
A mobile app for iOS and Android is in development. In the meantime the website works on a phone browser, and you can book, reschedule and cancel from there.

For businesses

How much does Aptri cost for a salon or studio?
Aptri has a single plan: a monthly base fee plus a fee per employee. Current figures, including VAT, are on the pricing page. There is no commission on individual bookings.
How do providers get paid?
Payments taken through Aptri, such as deposits and point-of-sale transactions, are processed by Stripe and paid out to the business's own connected account. Anything settled in person stays between the business and its customer.
How long does it take to get a business live on Aptri?
You can create a business, add services, opening hours and staff in one sitting. When you submit it for publication, Aptri reviews the profile before it becomes visible to customers, which is what lets us describe listed providers as verified.
Can I bring my existing client list across?
Yes. Aptri imports customers from a spreadsheet, so you can move an existing client list over without retyping it and keep booking history and contact details in one place.
Does Aptri work for a single-person studio?
Yes. A business can have exactly one person in it, and the per-employee part of the price scales with the size of your team, so a solo studio pays for a solo studio.
What does a business get with Aptri?
A public booking profile, a calendar with live availability, client records, staff and commission management, point of sale with receipts, deposits, analytics, and payouts through Stripe.
